MORE power for the DS, what can i do next? lectron?
where could i have my intake ported at?
what does it cost to do? awhile back i saw a ron woods ported intake for a ds on ebay...sold for like 180 or somthin i beleive...
do i have to make any carb adjustments with a ported intake?
and lastly....why do you say keep stock rev box?

That price is 289 per unit on all lectrons thats 36mm up to 48mm i belive i just bought two 44mm with dual power jets added and complete alcahol tunning for 344 EACH Thats pretty much standard for the lectrons from fast by gast or hgt racing well now alls ive got to say is why don't you all have lectrons???????????[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

When the first wave of lectrons went through a year ago, the guy at Fast By Gast was selling them to Forum members for a discounted $225. I almost bought one, but I got lucky and stumbled across a good deal on a Mikuni TM45 with accel pump!

The RW intake is not really ported its just cleaned up and bead blasted.
No carb adjustments are necessary.
Stock rev box; the stock engine makes peak power at 6200rpm, by 7900rpm its way down on power. The stock valve springs cant handle RPM above 8500.
The 46HV is a custom Lectron carb built and tuned specifically for the DS with left side fuel delivery, pinned independent floats, bleed air circuit, high velocity bore,single power jet, and custom needle. If all this were removed it would sell for the same as any other ordinary carb.

All the lectrons ive had. Have have left side fuel delivery' and pinned floats and varible adjustments so i can tune the ever changeing needs of my ds or 440 which ever happens to be the case!!! I have a 40mm on the 440
i had a 48mm gas on the mid size ds. I will have dual 44's on the big bike too day!! and on my stock class bike i had a 44 mm on gas single carb! if you talk to kevin or the guy's at HGT racing and give them your engine size aprox. hp and you riding preferance WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAM!!! THEY WILL MAKE YOU SMILE !!!! and yes i have bought them as low as 250 but not in awhile[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]:
