Default What stroke is the 760?

Don't know if anyone else makes it but. . .

Pami has a 103.5 mm bore with stock stroke that is a 699 cc (meets some racing class limitation - probably for the BMW F650 nothing I know of for the DS) stock stroke. I think Pami has one available for about $1200 Euro (X 1.16 exchange rate + 15% teriff + frt = about $1500 to $1600 - new jug and piston - gaskets may or may not be included.)

I think that your cases still need to be modified for this bore.

Actually, I think the 733's were a 103mm bore with the stock jug and re-nik'd. I guess you could do that and just not do the stroke. Only thing is I think these were a Sam Coe kit. I wouldn't suggest going to them.

Anyone know if TVI offers the 103 bore? Does it require any case mod?

Otherwise, if you are going to have to split the cases it really doesn't matter. The only reason I see for not going with a stroke kit or bigger bore is to avoid splitting the cases and the extra labor.

Thanks for the quick reply. SO... That price of 1500-1600 is even more expensive than a 720 kit right? Do the cases need to be machined with a 720 kit? What needs to be machined on the cases and why? Sorry for all the q's but thanks for helping.
