i would like to know if you can lay it on it's side????

i'm asking this because i want to put it where the airbox goes but i want to lay it down on it's side??????

I would have to say no... maybe if you got a special dry cell or something but as far as I know you cant lay them on their sides...

ya know what.. I have no idea... now that I think about it, it just could be... LOL.. I would still find out for sure if it can be mounted like that...

The stock battery is not a dry cell type but a maintenance free type.

This is a dry cell type and the one that I currently use and have mounted on it's side:

Odyessy PC=545 dry cell battery...

thats the same battery that was on my buell and it was mounted on it's side too. never had any trouble out of it.

yep. checked the web site and they offer it a lot cheaper than the harley shop, a LOT CHEAPER! i guess anything with harley on it cost three times as much $$$. it seemed to be a good battery untill i had to go over seas and left the key on for almost five months. not very observant?
