Default Lectron 46HV Carb???

Anyone with a Lectron 46HV carb do you have a problem with lighter front end? Every time I punch the throttle the front end comes up, whats up with what? Now I guess I have to regear my bike to get it to hook up better. I have had no problem with that in the past, with the stock carb. I guess thats what happens with MoRe.Horsepower!

I think this sounds cool, I'm just wondering how well it is going to fit with my IMS tank. I've got it lifted about 1/2" if that is enough I could squeeze it in, if not...

Although AZSand said there is a throttle cable that has a 90 degree bend in it which could help coming off the top of the carburetor. This could be one of my first ever emgine power mods... We shall see. Although I think I should do a CDI someday as well.

If you already have your tank lifted 1/2 the lectrons or lectron will fit with no problem useing a 90 deg banshee cable !!!!! i only have 3/8 spacers in mine

Blackhawk, sounds like azsand has your answer regarding tank clearance. I have the stock tank & couldn't answer that for you. This was also my first mod to my DS. Modded end cap, Lectron 46HV & 87 octane. No need to use the clutch to get the front end up, just hit the throttle &

Cool deal. I think in 2004 I might actually buy a couple of power mods for my DS. Up until now the only thing I've done for power was a pipe, kinda scary eh? I 'm thinking a CDI, carb. & exhaust would be a good combo for 2004.
