Great weather!??!
Damn... Glamis was blowing like a mad dog on Friday in the am. But we still rode and Saturday was better with Sunday being best. The weekend prior it was the same.... blowing. But Hot. Amazing how the desert can change from 105 to 80 in a weeks time.... and how the wind comes out of nowhere.
Anyway....
I also had some friends out in Gordons, they camp in the well. In the actual campground owned by the McMillan's (McMillan race team, McMillan Realty....). I'm assuming you guys camp out in the flats somewhere over the small canal bridge?!
OH... and if you've never been to Glamis... come out the canal road (or sand highway). It's only 26 miles from Gordons to Glamis. If you role sand highway... it's kinda fun, but fast. Plus most will need fuel to get them back. My friends do this all the time. We'll go visit each other with us fueling them up for the journey home. Kinda cool.
Peace out.
AND.... 16 days till I go to Glamis for Thansgiving!!! (Another 10plus day trip for me!!)
