oil tank strainer

Default oil tank strainer

i guess there is loctite pipe sealant on the threads, is it going to make it hard to loosen? should i use it again when i reinstall the strainer?

Yes yes and yes. On Sandpig's 04 it didint come with a strainer. Yours has one?

i will find out soon, i guess if your friends 04 didn't have it, mine won't too. but the strainer is in the 04 service manual.

i have to heat it up to loosen easy?

You shouldn't have to heat it up and I don't think i would even if you was supose to. I used pipe thread compound (pipe dope) You can get it any any hardware store
