I am going to Germany this spring for a couple of weeks to visit. Man, you have done alot of riding. Was most of it on the roads or off road?

Wow, great Featback,
I am hardly away a couple of days, I already must hurry to distribute my answers! I was buy an new trailer for my ATV and have a couple of days for vacation in bavaria. Sorry, i can't answer al messages.
@vampiererider: Welcome in Germany. It's cold here ;o))) brrrrrr
No problem with speak german. Most of germans speaks englisch, but here in the "Saarland"state, young peoples lerns france and the people in the old "DDR" often speaks russia, and more and more englisch.
In Germany you have a "Strassenzulassung", mean: legitimation for driving on the street. It's the same as a car! The Quad/ATV is changed by light and others electrical parts. For driving off road we have restrictedly areas, maybe good famers or rangers. Some of them are Quad/ATV drivers to ;o)
With other wheels, so I can drive 10 000 miles with a tire sentence with my Traxter. The original tires hold between 800 and 1200 miles here.
A problem is the price for parts! A original tires: 100 - 250 EURO, an complete ATV Traxter 12000 EURO with homologations for street.
You see, it's not so easy driving Quad/ATV in Germany, but it's a young market and he exploded.
