What is the true compreesion of stock DS?
#1
Has anyone cc'd the stock head and know the thickness of headgasket?
I believe the piston is flat. Deck height?
Final question: Can a DS have its compression raised by decking cyclinder, shaving head and using a thinner head gasket? Or is the change too small to justfy the work?

Stock piston is flat.
Don't mess with the jug.
Gasketis thin (probably 1mm) - don't mess with it. Not worth leaking head gaskets.
Buy a high compression piston to do the job right.
Enjoy the added power! This engine responds very well to a high compression piston. Great HP increase!
