Default Coughing back through the Carb

I had replied a while back about having the same problem. I took off my carb and clean it all out, threw it back on and it ran like new.

Does it run any better if you put on the choke??

I've never seen a stock ds get out of spec enough to cause a problem.

First off 222, welcome to the forum.
The DS intake valves are notorious for losing their clearance between 20 and 40 hours. If you have a DS and havn't checked yours, I strongly suggest you do.
Do a search on "valve adjustment" but make sure you have at least an hour to spend reading
