for a guy with a engine like yours i'd think the titanium would be a must, they said it is rated at 16,500. hey you are sharp how many grams are in a ounce?

i've used a high quality 7500 pound chain with no stretching or breaking, depends on the manufacturer and materials.

1 ounce = 28.3495 grams

I'm getting ready to buy a new chain, trying to figure out exactly what to go with.
The supposed Titanium chain from Sidewinder is not really all Ti, its a blend of Ti and Chromoly according to the dude there I just talked to on the phone. The side plates are triple nickel coated for corrosion resistance.
This info, combined with the knowledge of weight on this post, makes me want this chain, and just wondering if any of you guys found a more direct source to buy it to elliminate the Sidewinder middle man? Sidewinder's price is $169 for stock length.

every time i've called they act like they are being bothered or interrupted by the call. sometimes you're on speaker phone like they are in the middle of something. sometimes they answer talking real fast like they are busy and are as brief as possible with the call.
I had one bad experience with one of their sprockets not making it over the sprocket hub. I ended up taking off the axle and carrier. But I have to agree with Scooby on this, customer service was lacking for me. But you guys know what a hard a$$ I can be if it isnt right! LOL

i only had to pay shipping for them sending me the wrong products. i would like a ti chain but i'll probably never do business with sidewinder again. i've called different places and they seem to be the ones with it.
