what kind of oil
Sandman,
I ended up putting the Web Cams in. Here's everything I did to the Honda ...
440 Big Bore Kit with 13:1 Compression Piston
Web Cam 479 Grind: Lift = .378, Duration = 274 Degrees.
Web Hardweld Rocker Arms
Web Performance Valve Springs
Web Shortened Valve Guides
LTE Dual Exhaust
Edelbrock 38MM "Doug Eichner" Carburetor
Now, the only problem I see with those cams is that they don't have the compression release. Add the 13:1 piston together with a carb with no choke and you have a dead battery situation pretty quick in the cold weather. So, to combat that, I have one of those Cobra inverters I can get 110 power from the truck and a motorcycle battery charger if I have problems.
I had my mechanic put all that in. He (Chuck) said it pulled a lot like his 686 raptor (stock pipe). I got on it yesterday in his gravel parking lot and it pulled very well. I was surprised. The retail on all those parts was about $1300 dollars and add in about $900 in labor for the installation of the parts as well as the porting the head and boring the cylinder. Thats $2200 for solid power gain that should be just as reliable.
I put my old 39MM Keihin carb on ebay and it sold in the first hour. (I think I listed it too cheap - Oops), and the old Yoshi pipe is also on there. So hopfully that will cut down on the cost for the upgrade.

what kind of oil
there is a lot of guys running it in their street bikes, they race alot and say it performs better. all i can say is after we put it in my baja me and chadascrambler raced and i could beat him, he has exhaust, stage3 jet kit, ad now he went to stock exhaust, b4 was mbrp.i beat him with the mbrp exhaust on and now i keep up with him with the stock exhaust on. but i'm thinking bout running amalie 10/30 on my next oil change. a talked to a guy that had spent some time to do his research and he found out it performs better than red line o royal purple.
