If you are a big guy, you should look into aftermarket shocks at least. A 250lb buddy of mine gets MAD air on his Bomb but the stock shocks are wasted, loose shafts. Other than the shocks, his machine has held up great even though he doesn't always land so smooth:-)

I say if your machine has shocks...It can be jumped. I ride a 400ex...and if you jump on any machine you just need the feel for the machine to jump it. It can be smooth and it can be like running into a brick wall. Depends on how you hit the jump.

I hit some fairly huge jumps and as long as you don't screw up the takeoff enough to have to move it around a bunch in the air, there isn't ANY stock quad that will land better and will land better than most aftermarket suspended quads. But you better be going fairly straight when you hit the jump otherwise all the suspension in the world isn't gonna save your a$$.
