you mean like stabil??? if i know im not gonna use something for a long period of time then i just empty out all the gas (in the tank and in the carb) but stabil does work good.. if thats what your asking???

i think hes is talking about stuff like Heet, that prevents you fuel from freezing. Im pretty sure that it is safe to use since they say in the owners manual for my quad to use it when its cold

Default gas anit-freeze

Heet and other gas anti-freeze additives are mostly made of isopropanol alcohol. Designed to remove water from gasoline because gasoline itself has a very low freeze temp but water can freeze at 32f. Shouldn't hurt anything as long as you add it per oz/gallon instructions.

i used it last year and i had no problems, just don't put the recommended amount in
