would king slashers 20x11x10 be a good buy 2 put on the back of my ds? i think so, also i want to put them on douglas wheels but what size and what strength? will .160 work good? i will most likely just be trail riding . 03' ds stock

I have never seen those tires, I use holeshots and I like them for trails, I would also go with a 22in size, you will get more traction and not get highcentered as much. Dont waste your money on .160 for trail riding, I have .190 and they work great. The .160's are just to thin, you will bend them up in the rough stuff, roots, holes, etc. I think the front are .190, dont hold me too it, and I have bent them a couple times, usually on the inside, I just beat them back with a hammer until I get new ones. I they are .160, that would explain the dents.

The DS comes with Douglas .190 rims. It always has.
I have bent rim on the DS plenty! bent it past the bead. The DS is heavy, if you ride trails I would not consider anything other then 190. Sand is a different story..

If you truly want to avoid dented rims that you will constantly pound back into shape you'll need to buy the re-enforcing rings. The stock .190 DS rims, like any other .190 rim that does not have any sort fo folded edge will bend EASY. Save your money and do it right the first time, so that you never have to do it again. This important - take it from someone who's done a few things twice and regretted it. If you think that sounds expensive - imagine buying a full set of .190 rims. Now imagine buying a full set of .190s with rings only a year later because the first set is too beat up to use. Now imagine if you bought the better rims the first time and you spent the other money on an exhaust or some other cool thing.

Mudstud is correct, the ds stock rims are .190's. To help protect the rim always remember to run a rim 2" narrower than the tire. This sure helps save the bead area.As far as tires go it is hard to beat a holeshot. I recomend the XCT versions. They are 23" front & 22" rear . Run .190 douglas rim you will not regret it. GOOD LUCK
