Dynojet needle Richer or Leaner than stock?
The DJ needle is richer than stock and MY GOD don't use it! I just switched back to my stock needle and it's way better. Use the stock needle on the richest position like I said before. You will never have your quad jetted right with the DJ needle cuz I been trying for over a year to get it right with no luck.
So leave your stock needle in the richest position and don't touch it. Get a 170 or 175 mukuni main and you will be fine. Now you need to get a richer pilot jet for it to be rich enough from idle to 1/4 throttle. If you don't do that, changing mains and needle positions isn't gonna get you anywhere....

Thebigshow: that would be awesome if you can find it!
and maddog.... first off i dont even know if the pred. needle would fit, dont know where i could get one easier than the DS needle, and it may also be a different taper at the end....so for now i think ill keep my mission of looking for a stock needle (unless you personally have used a pred needle in your DS carb...)
