Default My aching back!

Guys I think my rear spring needs to be softened up a bit. Do I need a special tool to adjust it? What is the easiest way and are there any watchouts?

Bartlett,
Thanx for the info. Which you do you recommend to soften the ride? Shock adjust or lengthen the spring?

mine was adjusted to soft. [the spring] it ate the upper roller in short order. so watch that your chain will not be setting on the upper roller with you on the quad after lowering spring load. I raised mine until the chain was just off the upper roller with me on it. now it just hits when spring is compressed. the roller is lasting alot longer now. I ended up with about 3 1/2" of sag.
