one of my best freinds and racing partners just picked up his new 04 TRX450R. wow, it's pretty amazing looking up close. only rode it for about 2 minutes because its about -2 degrees here in michigan and snot was freezing to my face, anyway, seemed really impressive. the thing raps out like a crotch rocket (almost 10,000rpms!!!) can't wait till the snow melts and i can ride it on the ground so it acually hooks up. think it'll stay with the ds???? i'll let you know in about 2 months.

I sold my DS last weekend and bought a 450r yesterday. Im up at school and have no place to keep it until i go home on thursday, so im picking it up then. I had them install the HRC kit, I'll let you know how they compare power wise. Gotta wait until the snow melts to give a better comparison.

they both have the upgrade kits installed too.

He rode before and after, I guess the kit makes this thing pretty powerful

Its called the HRC kit. It includes a different cam, end cap for the exhaust, new jet and needle and some other stuff for the airbox.

 

yeah and can you believe they only charge $300 for all of that?!
