Default 46hv real world test

I have had my 46hv Lectron for some time now and it has been great in the dunes and trails. This weekend I got a real good before and after test on the 46hv. I have raced my good friend on his raptor (similar mods, but he weight 100# less) and he would always pull me by a few bike length racing up olds hill at glamis. This weekend after numerous races I consistently had two bike length on him. To me that was money well spent.

Hey Scott,
I am considering that carb myself. Did you do any porting? How long did it take you to install? How much fine tuning did you have to do to get it right? Thanx

I will give testiment to the mrhp46hv, I live in NC, at a fairly low elevation. A couple of friends and I went to WV this past saturday. The carb, intake, and endcap pulled flawlessly on the meanest hill climbs. It never hiccuped, and hit strong as he!! everytime I smaked it, I never even thought about the need to readjust.
I like this combo, now if I can sell a kidney to come up w/ some more money I will tear into this beast.

I did the porting of the intake myself, If I wasn't on a tight budget I would have had mr HP do it. But mrHp did give me tips and photos on how to port the intake. I also modified the thumb throttle myself, another item mrHP can do for you for a small fee. Installation of the carb is very simple, the intake took more time to remove and reinstall. The intake has 3 allen bolts, with the top bolt at a tight angle.

It took a little fine tuning to get it right on, mrHP had great phone support when I had some questions. Right now the bike idles like a show room new quad, no hesitation and just keeps pulling.
