Thank you for your explanation on costs. Well done. That is exactly what we're talking about- no case splitting, no sending your crank to Pami to get another rod installed, no head machining, etc...

I have a Pami cylinder in my hands, but it won't go in the cases (not even close). I've tried it on 3 sets of cases.

I think anything over 850cc would be big enough to get people worked up about it, and willing to pay for it.

That seams odd. This friend of mine showed me how a stock gasket will fit over the Pami base and actually set it in a set of cases. He told me that it doesn't fit them all, but those it doesn't, require less than 1MM of machining.
He never built it that way, because he didn't think it would last without the Pami oil mods, but he was rather confident it could work. I don't have anything here, but I'll e-mail my friend and ask him what the dimensions are for the hole in the cases and the base of the Pami cylinder.
What do you get for those dimensions?
