Default CARB BOWL SREWS STRIPPED, HELP!!!

Everyone strips those out. Vise Grips and then replace them with stainless steel allen bolts when you put them back. Use a little bit of loctite when you reinstall. They used it on the stock ones for a reason

Another quick easy way is to fill up the stripped part with valve lapping compound. It is very gritty and will grab the driver and screw.

I used a small cold chisel to bite the edge and thunked them lightly in a loosening direction. Unscrewed real easy.

Mudstuds right, just buy the Lectron and you don't have to go looking for new screws.....

A pair of needle nose visegrips will work to get them out..... then go to lowes home improvement center, in the hardware isle..... you know the one w/ all the machine screws in the storage boxes.... look for the allen head machine screws on the front of the box. Then open the box and get 4 M40,7mmx10mm allenhead screws and replace your old ones w/ them and you should never have this problem again That is until you go to move your clip position on the other end of the carb.
