I know alot of you are going to the Lectron, but I got a great deal on this TM45 (Thanks to BigDaddy331, great guy). any who, I ported my intake put the carb on w/ thumb, and WOW great power from stock. Im running a 15t sprocket now and I can see now I need to back to the 16t, alot of spinning on take off. I left 20' black marks on a hard pack dirt rd.
question for those still running a 45 in a stage 1 bike what did you settle on jetting? Im at 155main, 96 needle 3rd grove. 35pilot, 2 turns air screw, 50 acc.pump pointed to the right of needle. air box on lid off.
I think I need to go lower on the pilot cuz I can turn the air screw out all the way w/ out any changes in the motor rpms. plugs look dark brown. it kinda cams out while idleing. also where did you point the acc. pump nozzel right at the needle or to the right?

as for the thumb toughness I took out the thumb throttle spring out helped a little. any one else come up w/ good Idea for taking the stifness out?

When I had the 45 I had the squirt pointed right at the needle. Worked great for mine. Hightower had a pretty good fix as I recall for using the thumb with the accel pump. I ran a twist and still do so it wasn't an issue for me. Prolly do a search or PM him. The other settings on mine were same clip pos. But 150 main and 3 turns out. That was for sea level to around 1500 ft above.
