Has anyone installed the aluminum upper a-arms from the 04 quads on an older unit. I hate the twitchness of the front end and have to do something. I was wondering if this fixed it or if I should just get the aftermarket units. Also are the aluminum units lighter then lets say the TBR uppers. Weight is always something to consider. I just order 23" razr for the front to go with the 22" razrs out back. Any prices out there on the Bomb aluminum a-arms.

 

i just got the new hiem joints put in and will put them on this week, and ride sat.

I've been trying to get a pair... whos got them ??? My dealer here and 2 others I've called out of state, say the part number has changed and they no longer offer the aluminum..If any body knows where I can get them please let me know....Thanks

 

no more aluminum uppers - not made anymore. all the dealers can get anymore are steel.
reliability was no good, aluminum is discontinued.

 

They have the aftermarket (ASR) ones on Ebay for a pretty good price. My buddy just put them on his, and he loves them.
He say they make a world of difference to him. For $170 you can't beat it. I'm about to buy some for mine. Check them out.

That is strange because I haven't heard of anyone on this fourm actually breaking one of their 04 uppers.
