You won't get a carb for that much, but while you are ordering from MR.HP, have him do the intake porting, he claims that it adds 4hp to the stock carb.
Nerf bars and heel guards are also things to consider, add some oil and your money is all spent.

i dont do any sand riding, or draging, a couple of my buddies have a stock raptor, piped ds, stock yfz, stock 450R, piped banshee. all we do is drag on pavement. i was just wantin to go ahead and blow them out of the water. my dealer said he could get me a tm45 carb, install it, k&n airfilter for 500 even, is that a good deal?

That is probably a good deal if you get an accelerator pump and he is smart enough to tune it perfect. From what most people say the carb has potential, but it takes a good mechanic to tune it.

ok, so i should jump on that deal then? other than the exaust tip from mrhp is there something better for $100 instead of the tip. i was going to go with a full exaust and a ported intake but i heard the carb and exaust tip would blow the other setup out of the water. thanx

Have MR. Hp port the intake. $125, Jetting $75, Sprocket $35, Chain $75, Rad. Shrouds $60, inline water cooler $25.

Then save up for a carb.

i've always heard jetting was a waste of money, and i woudl kinda like to wait till about mid summer for a new sprocket and chain. but does anyone know if side by side compared, would the ds with the end cap and the carb out run the ds with the exaust and ported intake?

You heard WRONG! You can have $100,000 into your motor and if you don't have the correct jetting a stock blaster could take you.... Jetting is VERY crutial to engine performance.

The most for 500 $ your already getting the MrHp endcap so the porting is a must 125$ and a lectron 44mm from fast by gast for around 289$ K&n filter 65 $ with your budget that is the setup .
