Default New to the DS what tools Needed????

New to the DS650 and I was woundering what, if any special tools I should be buying for normal maintance. I am looking to getting a manual, and hoping to do most of my work myself. I am not new to quads just the four strokes. So any help in much appreciated. Also should the valves been adjusted after the first ten hours?

No specail tools that I can think of unless your pulling the whole quad apart. Get your valves checked after 10 to 15 hours.

Get a grease gun. There are zerks on the balljoints (unlike most quads out there). May want to grease every other ride.

A socket to remove the second spark plug. it can be a pain to remove.

A big oil pan to for oil changes. This is where it's easier on a 2 stroke. You need to drain from the motor, resvior and change the oil filter.

If you plan to bore out or replace the manifold ball end allen keys are a must.

Other than that... she is pretty easy to maintain.

A good set of metric sockets and wrenches. 10mm is a must.
