You may have been riding with the BIG boys with your DS but now your riding with the Quick boys with the R! What kind of mods does it have?

No matter what other modifications you do to your bike, the best thing you can do is buy a set of resevoir front shocks. Your handling and jumping abilities will be upgraded to a level that is completely beyond stock!

I forgot to mention that there are many types of shocks out there and prices get high. If I were you I would do what I did and go with a set of Ohlins piggy back resevoirs. They are fully adjustable and are made with extremely high quality parts. Works are a hot seller but mainly because they are relatively cheap ($520). They work fine but unless you opt for the nearly $900 ones they are not adjustable at all. Of course the Elkas, Custom Axis, and TCS are the best but their prices can exceed $1000 just for the 2 fronts! I went with the Ohlins because they are superior to the Works but at about $650 not nearly as much as the Elkas, Axis, and TCS.

Actually I got them for only $500 brand new off of ebay. Some guy ordered them from a company called Elite ATV and then called them back 15 minutes later to cancel the order but they had already ordered them from Ohlins. Elite ATV them put them on ebay and thats how I got them for so cheap. But if you go to www.motojoe.com you can find Ohlins front shocks with piggyback resevoirs for only $615. They are single rates but because they are fully adjustable I have found them to work even better than the Works tripple rates that are non-adjustable. The Works shocks also seem to have seal troubles even after they have been rebuilt.
