i've never run anything but 87 in my ds, never had the problem from the gas

Bad Ping in the DS

I have a friend who always thought his DS was pinging and it turned out his cam chain adjuster was failing. I would hope that wasn't the case on a 2004 though.

Bad Ping in the DS

We would all like to think that wouldn't be the case, But we went out and pulled it out and she was stuck closed. Fiddeled with it for a bit, and it poped open, cleaned it up, stuck it back in and it has worked since. About 2 weeks not. And the shims were needing to be adjusted as well. But now everything is workin well, thanks for the advise guys.
