Default Can you believe I FINALLY finished the DS!

HOLY CRAP.. 6 months+ it was on the stands.. I went through heck getting parts I needed to get everythign done!
Well, today I had the day off and I finished it! I drove it around the yard and it felt too big!! I am so used to the wifes ex it felt like a horse. BUT WOW does it have power!!! I was sitting on the gas tank and it was lifting my just from gasing it.. I had to use my 15t front sprocket, it did not like the 16 with the chain. I is old so I will get a new one later but I am running 15t front 40 rear and 20 klaws on the back. IT RIPS! I was going up and down our yard and it was power lifing the front in 4th gear. Rember, I went to a -1 swing arm for trail riding. It seem to handle nicely. I also went +1 forward on the arms so its the same wheel base just shifted the weight. WOW, it feels GREAT!!!!
I still have to bleed the rear brake line but other then that its on fire!!! Wanna buy it? I really want a built up ex now

Congrats Mudstud,

I was in a similar boat with my DS. Where did you get the -1 swingarm? I think I'm going to put a 15t front sprocket as well. I just got to get a 30mm socket to get the nut out that is holding the sprocket in place. I can't get the wheels up on demand.. even with the bigger displacement.

Congrats on your DS... I know I missed mine. Can't wait to ride her tomorrow.
