Default anyone know?

looking for a clutch cable and local dealer says 70.00. Anyone know where to get one cheaper?

somebody said something about a yamaha 80 cable for 13-14 dollars

The only problem with the 80 cable is that the cable is smaller diameter and with 60% stiffer springs you'll stretch it in a lot less time than a quality stock one. I am on my second cable also, and will probably go with a hydraulic clutch next time. For $240, you're a third there just buying a new cable.

Default anyone know?

I had the same problem, my clutch cable was $79 from the dealer. so i looked around and i found some on www.rockymountianatv.com but i didtn find any that were for a DS650

Hell, when my clutch cable broke, the dealer wanted like 120 bucks for it (cdn), and it would take like a week to get in. So we found this old dirtbike that still had the clutch on it, and stripped the cable off of it, but it was too short. However, u can remove the clutch cable arm on the side of the engine, and rotate it back and forth, kinda like adjusting it for when the stock one slacks out, and now 6 months later, the 1980's some cable is still holdin up on the ol DS.

motion pro will custom make cables starting at 30$ and 45$ for the really good ones.
