I'm running the Ct racing shrouds. There website has them for 61.95.

I installed mine with engine ice and the inline coolers. I noticed that my fan didnt come on near as much. As for how much the temperature change is. Not sure.

 

how much are the in-line coolers? how affective do u think they are without the shrouds?

 

The inline coolers range in price from $21-30. Depending on how many fins they have. I read an article that claimed the coolers dropped the temps 3-5 degrees under operating temps. Others claim they are a waste of money. I feel it helped but cant confirm.

 

graydon has the same shrouds for about 12 bucks less, think they may actually slow top speed, but they have a nice look

 

I am also considering the Alba Carbon shrouds for my Baja X. How secure are they if I cut them to fit around the Baja Lights. Removing the lights or covers is not an option for me. They have to stay. Any suggestions?

 

I called graydon about the aluminum shrouds & they told me that they were having problems with their fabrication (not fitting right) as are longer selling them, they sent me to CT Racing.

 

Wow, graydon still does not have them? I called them 8 months ago and they said they were redesigning the shrouds. I too ordered from CT and they are identical to the ones graydon used to sell.
