ignition timing with nitrous
#1
well i've been running the woods cdi for almost 2 years seems great, but since i've gone to nitrous i've heard a lot about ignition timing. looks like i'll go with the msd, anyways what is the goal with this? plus will it actually improve enough to be worth the change? i guess with the launch rev limit i wouldn't have to worry about the over rev at the line. right now i launch at 6-7000 and a half a second later the nitrous comes on, that is where things get kind of intense. but i worry about being on the edge of the nitrous hitting right at take off and seeing my quad on top of me. the other area is the rev limiter on the msd with the 25 shot that tach seems buried not matter how fast you shift, i know gearing will help with this, but some limiter insurance would be nice.

Sandman I have to send the msd box back to be checked out (adjustments not working properly) Will let you know what is happening. Carb should be available next week or next trip south with the drag bike
