Possible new DS owner?
Hello there! I was just woundering how much does it cost to make a DS fast ?(banshee or raptor smoking fast.) I now have a 03 raptor with piston, porting, cam, pipe the usual. But I was thinking about getting a DS for my next bike. Was just woundering how much I would have to spend in comparison. Thank for you info!

I live in Cedar City, so maybe we can hookup some time to compare fast DS's. I need to get my DS built first though [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] , because I don't even pick it up until June 13th. I am by no means a DS speed expert, but here is what I have planned for mine:
Mr. HP 730cc big bore picture $2000
Head porting $1500
Camshafts $500
Intake manifold $150
Carb $550
Exhaust $200
CDI $400
That is just a ballpark figure for what should be a reasonably quick DS 730, for about $5300. Which is kind of interesting, because it is costing me $5299 for the DS to begin with.
