Default Lightweight project kit

Hey everyone me again....I haven't raced the 450's yet but i did race a banshee and the predator... KILLED the banshee it has no traction off the line and the predator was just a matter of top speed I walked by him I can't wait to get the endcap and race the 450's

ANYWAYS REAL TOPIC I want to lighten my ds since everyone has a weight advantage on me does anyone know any sites where I can buy aluminum or just lighter parts in general?

Probably the easiest way to lose a lot of weight is to go with a cro-moly swingarm and a titanium axle. That combo is worth about 25 pounds. Most people take off the front fenders and cut the rear fenders. Take out your headlight. Mr. HP lightens the hubs and redrills them for honda pattern. Cro-moly front a-arms. That should help and then you can get serious and work on the frame and make it a straight drag quad.

you can change the rear sprocket to aluminum and save a pound, the front bumper is over a pound heavier than a baja bumper, the rear grab bar can be changed to a lighter one another pound. there are plenty of bolts that can be changed to aluminum for weight savings. the new model front motor mounts are good for a pound of savings over the old ones. handle bars are another area of savings
