Exhaust options
#1
Well my mbrp broke in half this weekend after I went through a puddle. The stock exhaust will be going back on for now. Has anybody cut the flame arrester off the stock end cap for additional noise and power, and if so how much? Will you get comparable results to an aftermarket end cap?

here is what i did to my original endcap and like the results so far

Well what happined to my mbrp is, at the beggining of my ride I went through a bit of water. I guess the water hitting the exhaust caused it to break apart from the rapid cool down. The pipe broke just infront of the weld infront of the silencer. It was new in augest. Check yours for cracks.

Yes you can cut it. cut it right in front of the flange that goes around the silencer. remove everything but the two external tubes. It wont perform as good as an aftermarket, but it makes a big difference over stock.
