Do I really need 60% stiffer springs?

I first had the 20% when i was just piped, still slipped, especially wearing haulers.
Now I am full stage II, 60% springs, pull doesn't bother me at all.
Pami makes springs that are even stiffer than the RWR 60%, for the serious bigbores from what I'm told. Many of the serious bigbore owners will say that the barnett disks are no better than the stockers.
I run stockers, and have only replaced them once in over 300 hours, and that was prior to the 60% springs during the first 50 hours when the bike was still quite new.

I changed to 60% after mine started slipping. I did not change anything else beside the oil. I went over to HP4 honda. No slippy now, and I dont even notice the pull when I'm lined up to open up a can of woopass on some poor slum. Other wise the pull still aint bad. I weigh 165 so the slippy aint so bad with me I guess.

the pull on 60% springs sounds harder than it really is. My friend and I made the change at the same time and could hardly tell a difference, until we dumped the clutch.
I ride more than race, and I wouldn't go to a lighter setup. I think the 60's even make the front end lighter.....

You know, I think it is those Pami springs I was thinking of. Sand45 had some on his bike and there was no way my wife could have ridden my bike if It had a pull that stiff.

I had 60% springs.. and the PULL was monsterous!!!
Hightower your a big dude.. and your hands are fairly large so I would imagine the pull would be easier on your then some of smaller guys (not that I'm terribly small).
I removed the immediately.
I'm wondering tho.. maybe down the road if I can alternate them. The 40% I got now slip a little when shifiting hard in a drag race but butter than the stockers.

If you grease the actuator you won't be able to tell the 60's from stock. Or at least I couldn't.
The rack actuator is SUPPOSED to be greased, wish I'd known that the first time. Pull was heavy and I broke a tooth.
