Not bad but I think I like the 04 Black/Yellow scheme better.

 

You had better like the 2004 edition better, especially since you own one!

I like the fact they are chaing colors etc a little more now, variety is a good thing. Three years of the same Yellow DS650 got somewhat old after a while (Even though they look cool.) Now for 2006 They need to introduce a new model. Thus far every even year has had a new edition or model release.

2002 DS650 Baja
2004 DS650 Baja X
2006 ????? Maybe not even a new DS but something else?

 

At first I was looking forward to the yellow scheme, but now that I have been around it a while the Orange is pretty sweet. I have a Yellow Seadoo XP and was hoping my toys would all match, but I'm starting to like the orange. Now I have to go buy an orange seadoo...

From the manual everything looks pretty close to the same (not that it has a bunch of details). The weight in the manual for the ds 650 was 470lbs and 495lbs for the baja-X. That is all I can recall from the top of my head. Dimensions were the same far as I could tell.

Looks like the full '05 lineup will be on the bomber web site this week.

 

Looks like June 10th for the new site w/ 05 models. Is there any Bombardier poeple out there with a early peak link??????????

 

I'd rather have a BAJAX, but I like the color of the original BAJA the best.

Maybe I'll go crazy & buy an 05[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I live in Regina, SK and it took less then 7 days to come in from Ontario (I'm guessing). I think it work out that I ordered it on a wednesday and it came in on the following tuesday. I was expecting an '04 model, but when it came I was pleasantly surprised.

My dealer was trying to give me the lines about "extra freight" etc since it was alloacted to another dealership, as he was trying to bump up the costs "I'll split it with you" he says. But a quick call to Bombardier factory cleared that up and got me a free helmet [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Thanks for the information.. I'm very glad to hear it wasn't a rediculous amount of time. I am heading to the dealer now to make this happen. He is a good friend of mine and has been for years, so I expect good treatment on the price...and hopefully, the delivery date.
