Take it to a good fabrication shop and they should be able to help you. Joshie took mine to a local axle/ heat treating shop in Pomona and they bent it back to within a few thousands for 20 bucks. THe axle was outta shape by almost a half inch. From what I understand they were quite impressed with the DS axle.

The axle on the DS650 is SERIOUSLY impressive from the factory. I think that may be one problem for aftermarket companies - the DS is built so strong, the stock parts don't just 'fall apart' every time you go over a bump like some other quads. Which is great for the people who own DS650s, but sucks when you sell parts and you need lots & lots of people buying stuff.
The other good aspect to the stock parts actually holding up is already mentioned in this thread: if you upgrade to aftermarket and replace the stock parts (say, an axle) the stocker has some value still. Other brands most times people wont bother with selling it and just toss it out.

Toydoctor, I would replace that axle or have it straightened asap. You could damage your carrier and bearings if you continue to ride it. I just replaced my axle a couple of weeks ago for the same type of incident as you. I replaced it with a Durablue ($300) from Rocky Mountain. I'm having the bent one straightened for a spare. Good luck.

I'll "fourth" that....
HAVE IT FIXED for cheap at a local machine shop.
I think my local shop took an hour to mine... and charged me $30.
Mine was bent more towards the hub, then the carrier... so it wasn't too hard for them to repair.
It's been perfect ever since!
No need to buy new or Durablue (durablue may even be weaker than a stock DS axle?!)...
Unless you got deep pockets!
