I guarntee mario is getting faster then 50MPh up that hill, at dumont we clocked him at 54 and me i was at 47 and he is 2 to 3 bikes faster than me, and that is bareley a 400' drag hill so i would think he is picking up more speed in the 800' then 400'..JMO
now were comparing speeds, i thought it was who got to the top first not faster..

Sam, Dumont is longer than 900' from start to shut down according to my GPS anyway. LS Utah is a bit steeper at points especialy the face than Dumont. 7 mph faster = more than 2-3 bike lengths. LS Utah is possibly twice as long as Dumont.

Air-Is scott bansheewarrior? He beat me once , but all the other times I cleary beat him. Even when they put a lighter rider on. Im a little confused. You must have only seen us race once.
Also, I would not be surprised if cpcpatriot isnt putting out 65 + hp on nos, he has that nos down pretty good. I think his bike weighs 340 or less.

twice as long, a lot steeper and 4,000 ft higher. I would guess maybe 45mph but not 50. Longer hills that are steeper actually slow down machines. Dumont doesnt even compare to the face. the face has a higher rise than dumont is total.

Also top speed doesnt really count, its how fast the acceloration is. I was going the same top speed as another bike @ Dumont and was still beating it by 5 bike lengths. I guess this is why We need a radar gun and vids rolling @ all times.

Yes, That is scott. The conditions were not even good enough for the Shees to hit 50 over the weekend. I only saw the one Race must have been the one he won. But I only saw 1 shee that was in excess of 50. I live @ the dunes and know the hill Mario you were the Fastest non nitrous non turbo DS I have ever seen there. but 54 @ dumont doesnt equil 50 @ LS.

I agree, MPH may be less on that big hill, it makes sence. Thanks for the props on my bike. It will be faster next time I take it out if everything goes well.
OK, If that is scott, Every other time I raced him i took him by several lengths. Im not takeing anything away from his bike(its quik), but he knows what happened.
Now I remember, I asked scott if I should run the TRX red banshee, and he told me I could probably beat it since I was a little faster than him. When the air got warm my top end fell flat on its face, I poured 2 full cups of oxygenater in it and it solved the prob and then some. Either way I had a fun time and Im glad there was bike there to compete. And scott is a cool dude, maybe he can fill us in more later.

Air, I see what you are saying now, Your right, I left faster and maintained, but they sure as he!! was creeping up on me, and fast. Im glad the hill wasnt much longer. He may just have been going faster at top speed. I 100% agree with you. I am glad the hill was not longer Thjen again, I dont think there is one longer.
Sam, the hill was so dang long that I had to make sure there was a place to turn around before I ran it and it gets a little steeper right near the top, And the face is so steep I almost wrecked going down it. You have to see it in person to fathom the severity of Utah hill.
