i just put the kit in and rode it for a while then pulled the plug and it is as white as a new one.so i put the 185 jet in and moved the clip down to the 3rd groove and rode it again then pulled the plug and it still is very white on the porcilen. i checked for air leaks and found none. i am lost, it runs great but i dont want to burn it up. could someone help please.

You aren't going to see a lot of color on a modern 4-stroke. The fuel is pretty clean and it isn't like a two-stroke that has oil mixed in the fuel.

Really only one way to jet. Get the quad on a Dyno that has a fuel / air ratio meter and run it.

If there is a long steep hill near you and someone has a radar gun, you may also have some luck getting it dialed in.

I don't read the porciline. Cause if it aint white or close then somethings wrong. I read the electrode strap and the base ring. The base ring should be gray / tan in color. The strap should change color halfway from the base ring to the tip of the electrode.
