Default Baja handguards = SHARP!

For any Baja owners who may not of noticed the tops and bottoms of these things are EXTREMELY sharp. I found out the hard way today when I sliced open my wrist while unloading out of my truck. I plan to take a file to them, or take them off completley.

The handguards have saved my hands a few times...Once took a mailbox off...thought I was going to miss but I was closer than I though

I don't want to ditch the handguards quite yet. I do a fair amount of trail riding so they may come in handy. I took a peice of fine sandpaper to them last night and no more sharp edges.

Follow me without them and we'll see what you have to say then. How do they get in the way?
All of my riding friends either have them or wish they had!
My '03's were not sharp but my friends '04 were. Sanded them lightly and that was that.
I live and ride in South Florida. Palmetto limbs have teeth on them. They will cut you good.
Mine have saved me MANY times from branches and trees. Yes, trees.
