How hard is it to change the steering stem? It looks like I need to take off all the front plastic and the chassis skid plate. At the bottom I see 2 bolts and 1 large one on the very bottom. Do I need anything to dismantle anything else to get the job done?

Move gas tank back and remove the three bolt that hold down the oil tank.

 

Is there anything complicated on the bottom end of the shaft?

 

I got most of it apart. It looks like removing the radiator is necessary, is that true?

 

No Just remove the gas tank and losen the oil Tank and you can work it a round and out. First time it took me about a two hour trying different ways before I got it out but it will work it way out the top.

 

Thanks, will try it without removing the radiator. The parts get ordered today.
