i have saved up around $550 so what would be my best bet to make my baja faster, right now it has nothing. of course, i have to with the end cap from mr hp first so that brings me down to still over 400. and i wanted to go up 1 tooth on the front sprocket to get more top speed. but i have learned this will take away some of my acceleration, so will the end cap not prevent this? with the end cap and the 17 tooth front sprocket will my acceleration go down, stay the same as stock, or possibly go up? thanx

 

get a r.w. cdi and k/n filter. keep your sprocket its already top seep fast. but thats my opinion.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

or save your money and get a stage 1 kit. for what $1400? a 11.5-1 piston is $260. any other opinions??

 

If I had $500 extra to drop on the DS I would start with a
1: Procom CDI $129
2: K&N air filter $40
3: Mod Quad end cap $80
4: Mikuni main jet $4 (170 to 172.5)
5: outerwear for K&N $10

That will leave you about $240 for good tires like ITP Holeshots or something.

 

A set of 22" ITP XCT rears and 23" XCT fronts with a 15tooth front sprocket will run you about $310 from Rocky mountain ATV. Then you will have everything covered for the money you have to spend.

 

i think this is exactly what i will get, seems like a decent package deal for $240. what kind of power increase will i see from these mods and does anyone have an idea on where i can purchase these goodies? i plan on ordering today.
