HMF slip on jetting?
Well the needle nose vise grips worked like a charm...I took the carb off just to make it easy on myself. Everything was a piece of cake to change.
I do have a question regarding the 2 large diameter tubes running to the airbox. I noticed that they both have large holes worn in them from rubbing on the frame, some are at least 2" long. Is this going to hinder performance at all?

Bombrider, I see your in Isreal...were you and your family in the "Letters" area of one of the ATV mags? There was a pic of a family, with one of them riding a Bomb.

Freakneh,
It sounds like you are talking about the air intake tubes? The ones that come in to the air box at the bottom of the front of the box? One runs into each of the lower front corners? If so, these don't matter, it will actually help the machine to get more air if you take these off. Just be careful when riding in water!!

Yep, those are the tubes I was referring too. So you think it'll open it up alittle more to remove those huh.....I might give that shot. Here in AZ we don't really have to be too concerned with water...dust is more of a factor around here. I've always wondered what it would be like to ride on a moist, loamy trail, or track. LOL
Thanks for the responses guys.

hey all
the guy that is goin to helpo me jet my ds said thatr as soon as i bolt the hmf pipe on i should take my qwuad onto a long strech of road and run it like almost full out then pull the clutch and turn off the quad and let it coast is this a proper way to see if you need to move up a jet size or down
