if you can do the work i'd break into the engine and do a stage two, there reasonable seems if you look around you could get that done for the price of the carb.

what all is done to be considered full stage II? (all internal?) cams/piston? head work?

basically i dont want to spend more than 700 total for whatever i get... id be willing to have head work or stage II done as long as its close or within that limit (and i wouldnt have like 6 months of down time)

in my opinion, a 720 or a 730 , or 760,ect ect ect, really dont greatly improve your horsepower unless u have a bigger carb...i willing to bet alot of the guys will agree with me that it all starts with the carb, a race head is useless if u dont have the proper carb to feed it the fuel and air.

i first started looking at a new carb to help with elevation changes, as i heard the 46hv wasnt as picky as the stocker (which i have been seeming to have trouble with..) but im starting to veer off course for more power.... so i think i will stick with a carb, now i just have to narrow it down i guess.

A well setup properly tuned carb is one of the first and best bolt-ons you can buy.

Be very careful which piston you choose for the stage two kit. We normally see a 2hp loss from most 11.5:1 pistons on the dyno compared to the stock piston!!!
