954 big bore kit for the DS!!!!!
Lilnotts, I bout it from an individual(from Hawaii). It actual was a hug pain in the A$$ to get me motor, between him ad the shipping company he used, it took 1 month for my motor to get here. I felt relieved when my motor finally arrived, cause I paid him with a cashiers check (long story).
Mysteried, That quad look sweet, I am hoping to biuld the ultimate quad for myself. I have vision, and lots of ideas, but until I get started matching stuff up ,and cutting, I will not know forsure, But that is what make this biuld so exicting for me.
I will try and set-up a pic page, so I can start getting some "before" pictures.

Bigger, I can't think of any tips to give you as what we built is really a different animal. I considered what you are doing for quite some time and the end result should be a bettter handling machine, but doesn't attract attention like the bike conversion. My dream bike is a Honda RC51 conversion with a polished aluminum frame and titanium suspension. About 140 RWHP with a very flat power curve and I was hoping for 420lbs.
Building the CBR felt like being on junkyard wars I guess. When you place a sawzall to the frame for the first cut you ask yourself am I sure this is what I want to do After that it gets better.
I'm really interested how the airbox will fit between the frame rails and can it be reshaped with heat? Optimally you would want to be able to keep the DS tank cover to maintain the stock appearance.
