ASR A-arms - are they any good ?
I bought mine through e-bay, no probs at all. Also Mike at ASR is a great guy and backs up his work and word. I have had mine for almost a year, I ride mostly sand and desert. One heim has a little play in it but not noticeable the rest are fine. They are little squeaky but can not notice them while riding. The powder coating does like to peel in certain areas, but the desert will not allow anything to last for ever.

I bought a set a few months ago with no probs so far. I set a little more castor than recomended and my bike tracks straight even over rocks and ruts, I got tired of the dartiness. As to wear, I can't see any yet, I spray alittle tefflon lube or silicon on the joints before every ride though.

I am getting ready to order a pair of the adjustable uppers. I will let you know what I think as soon as I get them installed.
I have put my old ones on ebay with a starting bid (someone already bid it) of $75.00. They are from my 04 DS 650 (red not baja) and are the aluminum ones. They are only about 6 months old and are in perfect condition. check them out on ebay use search and type in ds 650.

Mine lasted about a year and a half all the way around and needed replaceing very badly. you can go two ways here. Just replace the heim or you can replace the heim and the stud. cost is 15.00 and 45.00 each. I went the 180.00 way the last time around. Next time i'll go the 60.00 way.
No way to lube them unless you take them apart and do it by hand / fingers....they do dry out and squeek. Mine are chrome got them from Alba a few years ago. I once though I would never by ASR's again cause of that. Now I won't cause I don't think i'll ever need another set of A-arms
You will like the ASR's adjustable in every way possible. I got the +1 forward and +1 wider. I can actually let go of the bars when rolling through the woops. Not hualling **** mind ya but rolling through them. Great handling a-arms.

I have ordered the uppers and they are due to be deliverd on the 9th. I am going to take them to Ocala National Forest a few weeks later for 4 days of long riding over a variety of terrain. I will reply after with a full report. Thanks to all of those that supplied info and opinions.
