04 baja x...less than 11 hrs...clutch slipping...
slips in 3rd racing up hill,...im running bomb oil...and have allready done the 10 hour service,...
dealer says they wont warrenty it due to it being a wearable part,....is this a common thing with stock clutches?.........yes ive checked to see if the oil level was right,...if im forced to buy another clutch, what are my options for a good clutch?
it just seems such a great bike with little hours on it would last alot longer than this,....i know i have been riding it hard but aint that what they are for??

not real common problem, but once you start trying to pull more HP out of the engine some heavy duty clutch springs are in order. ( $30 approx) . I'd recommend staying with the stock fibers, there are plenty of built DS that have no problems with slippage issues running the stock fibers. ( I think it's around $70 for the fibers )
Install is very straight forward, just be sure to set the clutch cable up correctly so you don't wear the clutch out prematurely.

ok,...it just started slipping this last weekend,...i noticed it when i was starting to loose to a raptor after about 10 runs up the hill smoking him everytime,....i let it cool down for an hour or so and hit the sand again but not racing,...just messin around,...no slippage .....i wonder if the clutch would still be useable enough with 60% springs added?.....or should i buy new fibers?...
