Ok It has never done this B4, couple days ago I was riding some wheelies It went all the way to the grab bar I hopped off and did it again this time as the quad came down I jumped back on to keep the whellie going and I poped the clutch and she came back on the bar really hard. I brook the roll bar "again" ever since then the oil light wont shut off. I tried to bleed the system but I cant break the screw lose its too tight I tried every thing. put here on the side and used a large screw driver. I twisted the end of the screw driver. Ive never had to bleed the system for the oil changes.
if it does need to be bled what the heck do I do is there another way to bleed it? couldit be something else keeping the light on ????? should I check some connections ???if so where?HELLLLPPPPP I need to ride!!!!!!!!!

I've heard about this before so someone else jump in if I'm not telling him right. I would check your wiring connections at the oil pressure switch on the engine first and make sure it's good and tight. If that doesn't cure it, then it could be a bad switch. Seems like there have been problems with the Bombardier oil switches.
Hope I'm right and this helps!

Disconnect the oil return hose from the oil reservoir , turn the engine over with the ignition off , if you have good flow than you're looking at an electrical issue, my guess is you need to prime the oil system like you've been trying to do. Rolling the bike willl starve the engine of oil and cause the 2000 models to lose their prime. Get a buddy to tap on the end of the biggest flat blade scew drive you can find and put a wrench on it and break it lose, this is the only way to prime that oil system. Don't strip out the head of the bolt!
Good luck.
Good luck.

I pulled the line off the oil tank and rolled it over w/ the it in the off poss. nothen came out . I proceded to let it start for 2 seconds and the oil started to spit out. I did that twice I saw the light went off. so I put the hose back on and walla no light when started. Thank You!!!!!!!!!

While I was at the dealers I watched him bleed my system and he couldn’t get the screw to turn either!
He got a large screw driver and a rubber mallet he taped on the screw driver a few times and was then able to remove the bleed screw.
Believe me I was cringing ;0 when he got that mallet out! But it worked great.
My problem was a bad sensor, and they ordered one in and it was bad too. The third one ordered worked great.

Two bad sensors here in Mid-Michigan as well. This one is working so far. Someone once told me there was a recall on the 2004 oil sensor. If I can find the note I wrote, I'll reply later. Good to know the oil screw trick. On my first oil change, I tried like a madman to turn the screw with the largest screwdriver I had. I almost broke the darn thing. Then I posted a message on the forum and found out I didn't have to bleed the system. Anyway, it's good to know the screwdriver trick incase I need it.
