Default low rpm sputtering

car= carb and ya only have to take the top of the carb off lift off the slide and change the clip. If ya are going to ride it many placed you are going to want to know how to do it. Your dealer should set it up for altitude for free. He will most likely say it is set up from 0-3000 ft from the factory but I guarantee ya it will run better with the clip raised one motch from factory. It is alot easier if ya put new bolts in the top of the carb because the factory ones strip easy. Have the dealer replace them with the local hardware store replacements. It made mine alot easier to get into.

yea thats why i dont wanna take it apart im worried about the bolt stripping because ive heard they strip easy and i dont no if that i do this by myself that it might void the warrenty?? somehow if something does go wrong i dont want the warrenty to say it was my fault because i wrecked the carb somehow by changing things

To me it sounds like the choke is still in the first notch (not pushed all the way in). or maybe the air filter is dirty.

Don't change the main jet just adjust the needle. The 165 mikuni works for all elevations with the stock bike.
