I mean this in a serious and non-confrontrational way, I don't know if I understand the difference between commercial advertising and helping a forum member find a source for products, referrals (good and bad), etc.

I think PM's from members sending numbers and web sites for no commercial gain but, just to assist a member should be allowed.

Well,

amd or you can recommend XYZ site but if the owner of XYZ site is in this thread and recommends or is trying to sell parts through the forums that is when it falls under the forum rules.
