I just got my HP Research drap pipe on my bike. And I can tell you right now like BigDS said, if you are planning on anymore mods and not worry about the sound. This is definitely the pipe to run for strictly drag racing. Only one must with this pipe and that is an aftermarket CDI. This thing pulls so hard. Zero restriction. Im well pleased. Be sure to wear ear plugs.

 

what kind of pipe did u have before? and how did it compare to your drag pipe?

 

I just had a stock pipe. Drag pipe rips.

 

Thre is no way that a muffler can compare to a drag pipe in terms of performance alone. The pipe is just that, a pipe, for all intents and purposes it has no restriction. Its not the best pipe to run in areas with rules about spark arrestors, dbs levels etc, but for pure porfomance its the only way to fly.

 

other things to concider is how well the pipe will last.

 

Get it ceramic coated and it should be ok.
